Context
Herbs and spices are mostly sold by the gram or litre rather than by the piece, and each size of the same product has its own price and stock. The goal was a shop that handles this naturally, lets the business run its own orders and content, and does well in search engines.
What I built
Store
I built the site with Laravel 12, Blade, Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS on MySQL. Products can be sold by the piece, gram or litre, and each size has its own price, sale price and stock. Visitors browse categories and subcategories or search; a guest cart merges into the user's cart on login, and guests can check out too.
Admin panel
The business gets its own admin panel: products, categories, orders, users, reviews, sliders and the newsletter; an order status flow that returns stock on cancellation; reviews that only buyers can write and that need approval; an audit log of admin actions and visitor-behaviour analytics in Chart.js. The logo, contact details and Google Analytics ID are editable from the panel.
SEO and hosting
For SEO there are per-page meta and Open Graph tags, canonical URLs, schema.org data such as Product, Offer and AggregateRating, and a command that generates the sitemap. Slider images are converted to WebP with Intervention Image. I deployed the site on Plesk.
